17mm Adaptors In

Wednesday, 13 August 2008 10:56 by Jason

I got my 17mm adaptors for my Traxxas Slash. I put the smaller pinion gear in and put on the 8ight-T tires on! I ran it in the street for a bit and the rear tires were rubbing. I only ran it for a few minutes checking the motor to make sure it did not blow up. I was driving it back in when I decided to try and drive up the porch steps. The motor sparked and poof! It felt welded together and smelled burnt. I let it cool and tried it again. Nope she is toast. Lesson learned. I can't wait to get my 8ight buggy tires. I hope the LHS has a Titan 12 or it is some modified 15 turn motor. Maybe I'll do both or just go brushless? Who knows?

A Day at Seven Cities Raceway

Monday, 4 August 2008 13:46 by Jason
I went out to Seven Cities Raceway Sunday and ran into Ed. He was painting part of the track. I must say the track is looking great! There was a built-in shade for the drivers stand and the layout has been perfected. The track was a little washed-out due to some recent rain. Plus there was sand all over the place. Nevertheless the track was fun. I brought my 8ight-T and the new Traxxas Slash. The Slash has a hard time hooking up on the loose dirt and sand but is a blast to drive. I let Ed take it for a spin and he had a good time. I broke the 8ight-T out and it hooked up fine. It was a bit loose in the sand but she held up well. Overall I had a great day at the track and I would like to thank Ernie and Ed for doing such a great job with the track. I look forward to the race on August 16. Come out and race your car or watch a great bunch of people have a fun time.

Novarossi Exaust Gas Cooler

Wednesday, 30 July 2008 23:35 by Jason

During the EC-A 2008 which was held in a very hot Valencia many drivers had problems to make the five minutes on 1 fuel tank.
After our team manager handed out some prototype parts of our new 'Exhaust Gas Cooler' to our team drivers (Collari, Balestri, Pietsch, Pirani, Lackner, Vuga to name a few) they where able to use the full potential of their 359 Race . 21 engines again because they did not have to worry about five minutes anymore.

The Exhaust Gas Cooler is mounted between the tuned pipe and the fuel tank and so it will take away some heat from the exhaust gas that goes into the fueltank, lowering the temprature of the fuel and increasing the runtime.

Our 'Exhaust Gas Cooler' (part number: 36000) is available in purple anodization.
Shipping starts after our holiday closure (25th of August).
