If you are a subscriber to the Losi Insider Update then you will find out about the new Losi 1/10 vechicle for $179.99. I hope it is a CORR style Truck with Spektrum. New from Losi is the release of this centre differential 50T and 48T Lightweight spur gears for the 8ight buggy and the 8ight T truggy. Lightened without sacrificing strength through the use of additional holes, the gears is optimally sized to fit the 8ight racing platform with no modifications.

I went out to Seven Cities Raceway after work today and the track was in great condition from this weekend's race. I tested the Slash's latest upgrades (Integy Shocks and 2 5000mah LiPos). This thing is now hooking up! The 1/8 scale buggy tires give the Slash the bite it needs and the LiPo gives it the punch. I have a few pictures of the track up on Flickr.

Associated dropped another hint about the new CORR SC8. It looks like they took the RC8 and added a roll cage and big CORR-style body. I still like the Slash. The electric + LiPo setup is potent.

Randy and crew were at Hobbytown USA Virginia Beach on Saturday August 16 2008 for some competition. There were plenty of Axial AX10s and a couple EnRoute Berge machines.
